This week I'm sharing a very short video because I'd rather you use your time to implement the message than to listen to me.
We are in a time of crisis in which we have ALL experienced some form of loss. Many have lost a loved one to Covid-19 or another cause; others have lost their jobs, freedom, financial stability, peace of mind, or sanity!
What have YOU lost these weeks? How does that feel?
I know the pain of loss all too well. It can make you feel hopeless, lonely, terrified, anxious, overwhelmed, sad, angry, helpless, lost, defeated... We all experience it differently, but the essence of the pain is the same.
These days you have experienced grief because the world you knew has changed for all. You, too, understand what it feels like to lose your life as you knew it.
Hence, you can tap into the empathy that results from experiencing pain and use it to lift someone else up. Think of someone that is having a harder time than you in coping with this crisis (remember the abuelitos and our heroic medical staff!) Reach out to that person by calling, texting, emailing, messaging, mailing a letter, passing by to drop off a note or treat, or implementing any creative idea you may come up with to brighten up his/her day.
Let them know they have NOT lost you!
If this resonates with you, please let us help you overcome grief or pain through our Hurt 2 Hope program.
